Poly A Polygon is defined as a closed plane figure, especially one with more than four sides and angles, but also includes three or four sided figures. I created Poly to randomly choose the number of sides between 3 and 50. The BackGround color also changes with each new display. I've added a new command called Timer. When you click Timer a new window opens at the top of the screen, which will allow you to change the display time. The default is for Poly to display a new Polygon every 3 seconds, but you may set it anywhere between 1 and 30 seconds (inclusively). You may change the Maximum number of sides by clicking in the Red Poly in the upper right hand corner of the screen. When you click it, the number Poly will empty. Key in a new number, then press Enter. I wrote Poly to accept over 500 as the maximum number of sides, but personally, I think you'd have to have a monitor the size of a BillBoard to enjoy it that way. Fwiw, I believe it looks best when you keep the Maximum number of sides fairly small. I think 10-15 works well. The number of sides of the current Polygon is displayed in the Blue Poly in the upper left hand corner of the screen. You may Freeze the current display by clicking anywhere on the Poly screen. Click again to Thaw the display. |
